Stromness Ferry Terminal has automatic doors at the entrance, a drive-through lift to the walkway, and level access throughout the ground floor. The reception desk has both high and low sections. There is an accessible toilet and a Changing Places toilet in the main terminal. Staff can provide wheelchair assistance, sighted guiding, priority boarding, and BSL support. Sunflower Lanyards are available free of charge, wheelchairs can be borrowed from the ship, and all dogs and pets are welcomed. Stromness Ferry Terminal is NorthLink Ferries' Orkney terminal for the Pentland Firth crossing. The MV Hamnavoe sails up to three times a day between Stromness and Scrabster, with the 90-minute crossing passing the iconic Old Man of Hoy. The terminal is located on Ferry Road in Stromness and offers ticket sales, tourist information, vending machines, toilets, showers, washing machines and tumble dryers. The ferry docks overnight in Stromness.
